I attended a lunch meeting hosted by the South Dakota Association of Fundraising Professionals today. Sometimes educational activities are hard to make time for. But I can’t think of a single time I didn’t come away glad I attended. We coach our clients to continue professional development in their respective trade or field, and I always remind myself that nonprofit folks are not off the hook on this either.
Hats off to SDAFP, and SD Community Foundation, Andrew Knutson, Ronda Gusinski, and all the other folks who work hard to make a networking group valuable. And THANKS to the SD governing bodies for updating the 1960’s SD Nonprofit Corporation Act. Can’t wait to see your final version!
