Nothing gets my goat more than discrimination. The older I get, the less patience I have for intolerance, bigotry, and narrow-minded attitudes. Along with a compassionate and (I like to think) more enlightened point of view comes some tricky questions.
Just last night, I enjoyed a conversation about the virtues (or lack thereof?) of Affirmative Action. I came across this article today about whether it’s OK to discriminate in favor of someone with a disability. Thanks Blue Avocado for always putting something interesting and thought-provoking in front of us.
