Lena served for ten years in universities, including Arizona State University, Washington State University, and the Colorado School of Mines, and then for the last ten years, with a wide range of non-profit organizations in Colorado and around the country. She presents workshops, board development sessions, and training seminars in grant writing and fundraising – and thoroughly enjoys helping organizations reach their resource development goals. Carrie has spent over 16 years in leadership positions with nonprofits and became an executive director at the age of 25.  She immediately fell in love with the impact that nonprofits of any size can make when the right structure is in place. Her passion for nonprofits spans from board development to financial viability.  She is a recipient of a Brava Award, which honors outstanding female CEOs and she was also touted with the award of the 50 Most Influential Women in Charlotte, NC.  Carrie grew up in the Carolinas, and now lives in Boca Raton, Florida with her 4-year-old son and her husband.
