The Opportunity

WBFI wanted to increase registration and attendance for their Annual Meeting. Tasked with spearheading the marketing campaign for the WBFI 2023 Annual Meeting, Nonprofit Resources devised and implemented a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance their social media reach and increase event attendance.

Our Approach

The WBFI Annual Meeting was held from November 7-9, 2023. We started the marketing campaign in August. The primary objective was to establish a compelling and consistent social media presence for WBFI in the run-up to their 2023 Annual Meeting, in addition to increasing event registration. We executed targeted advertising campaigns and curated dedicated social media posts and newsletters, each intricately tailored to spotlight individual speakers, sessions, and sponsors. This comprehensive strategy aimed to optimize engagement and ensure a seamless and impactful build-up to the event.

The Results

  • WBFI Annual Meeting attendee registration increased by 28.72% from 2022 to 2023.

  • Instagram following increased by 2.2%, Facebook following increased by 18%, and TikTok following increased by over 65% during the 3-month campaign.

  • Membership increased by 8.5% from August to November.
