Southwest Kids Cancer Foundation (SWKCF) is an Arizona-based organization committed to actively preserving and advancing Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks programs for children and families in the Southwest region of the United States.  Arizona Camp Sunrise, known as the first pediatric oncology camp, started in 1983. The camp started with a mission to offer offers safe and fun programming for children who have or have had cancer. In 1988, the program started Arizona Camp Sidekicks, programming specifically for the brothers and sisters of cancer patients.

35 years later, Arizona Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks programs now serves thousands of children, with a skilled volunteer staff of more than 100 adults. There are retreats, teen trips, and other special events year-round.

The Wild Bird Feeding Industry is an association dedicated to the progressive expansion of the backyard wild bird and backyard wildlife feeding industry.  Since 1984, WBFI has continually worked to meet the needs of their membership and the industry. The membership is company-based and includes all aspects of the industry:

  •  Packagers of wild bird feed
  • Manufacturers of wild bird feeders
  • Processors of the wild bird feed ingredients
  • Manufacturers of suet, seed cakes & bells, and nectar
  • Distributors of wild bird feed and feeders
  • Retailers working directly with consumers 
  • Support companies including packaging manufacturers and transportation companies

Residential Energy Services NetworkSetting the Nation’s Standards for Home Energy Efficiency.  The Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) was founded in 1995 as an independent, non-profit organization to help homeowners reduce the cost of their utility bills by making their homes more energy efficient.   RESNET is a recognized national standards-making body for building energy efficiency rating and certification systems in the United States.

Idea Wild logoIdea Wild recognizes that planet earth is now experiencing a loss of biodiversity.  This Colorado-based international organization works to equip, empower and activate the world’s most promising environmental leaders to grow and strengthen the movement to conserve the planet’s biodiversity.  Biodiversity is the foundation of human existence and has provided humankind with healthy ecosystems, food, fiber, pharmaceuticals, pollination and peace of mind for thousands of years. Planet earth is now experiencing a loss of biodiversity.

Joe’s House is not an actual house, but a nonprofit organization that helps cancer patients and their families find a place to stay when traveling away from home for medical treatment.  Joe’s House lists cancer treatment centers and hospitals across the country with nearby lodging facilities that offer a discount. Although Joe’s House caters to cancer patients, any patient, regardless of diagnosis may use the lodging facilities listed.   Learn more about us.
