Through community partnerships, REST also advocates for systemic changes to protect and empower those affected by the sex trade.

SD-STRA was started in 2022 when a group of short-term rental owners and property managers realized the need for common-sense regulation in their local regions. SD-STRA helps establish standards for short term rental properties in the state of South Dakota to benefit hosts, state and county governments, community members, economic development, tourism, and the public.
