In February, Black History Month reminds us to reflect on the enduring contributions, struggles, and triumphs of Black Americans. Nonprofit Resources acknowledges the importance of this month, and the role associations play in preserving this history.  

Hanif Smith, an Account Executive at Nonprofit Resources, is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and played a role in the creation of the Black Association Executives (BAE) group, a support network for Black professionals in association management.

What started as a one-week observance has now expanded to a month-long celebration. With leaders like Hanif, organizations across various fields can work together toward building a more inclusive future for generations to come.
