Shaif earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Engineering from Houston Christian University and a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity Management from Lindsey Wilson University.

He has spent most of his professional career supporting nonprofit organizations, providing technical and executive support. He is passionate about helping students and young professionals succeed in their academic and professional journeys. He has volunteered with nonprofit organizations that provide scholarships to students and has mentored graduates by offering guidance on networking, career development, and employment opportunities.

Outside of work, Shaif enjoys programming embedded systems and experimenting with electronics, including PIC microcontrollers, STM32 development boards, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi platforms. He also enjoys gaming and listening to nonfiction audiobooks— particularly those focused on self-improvement, personal finance, and philosophy.
