Sharon brings more than 30 years of experience in the association and corporate sectors to her role at Nonprofit Resources. She takes a creative approach to problem solving, tackles negotiations looking for win-win resolution, and always strives to bring out the best in others. She strongly believes in the power of associations to contribute to the success of their members and their communities. She earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, and has been an active member of ASAE; based on her contribution to professional development and demonstrated leadership in the field, she was selected to sit on the ASAE Professional Development Section Council for two terms. She is also passionate about sustainability, earned a LEED GA designation, and led the Atlanta chapter of GMIC.
Sharon lives on a farm in north Georgia with her husband, dogs, cats and two rescue horses. When she’s not working, you’ll find her in her studio; an avid pastel artist, her work has appeared in shows at the Booth Museum and is represented by a gallery in Cartersville, Ga.
