According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, “a 50 percent decrease in the gender gap would result in a 0.3 percentage point increase in the GDP of many countries.”

Women earn up to 21 percent less than equal male counterparts. Better use of the female work population could significantly enhance economic growth, reduce poverty, enhance societal well-being, and ensure sustainability.
