Healthcare Hospitality Network (HHN) is a nationwide professional association of nearly 200 unique, nonprofit organizations. HHN offers an array of lodging and support services to patients, families and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities.

On Wednesday March 14, HHN hosted an Ask the Expert webinar for all members. These webinars occur monthly, providing information on a variety of topics specifically targeting hospital hospitality house issues. This call-in session is part ‘presentation’ and part question & answer. Guest expert Talia Giordano from Gift of Life Family House had the privilege of discussing her work with members, placing specific emphasis on working with guests with chronic illnesses and the sensitivity training that comes along with that.

Over 30 members attended this webinar, and we hope to see the number of attendees increase as HHN continues to conduct these regularly.
